Interstate 35 (I-35) threads through Kansas City from north to south, connecting with Des Moines to the north and Wichita in the south.It joins with all major routes in and out of the city – and passes the airport. Interstate 435 (I-435) is a highway that encircles central Kansas City across two states, crossing both the Missouri River and the Kansas River.Interstate 70 (I-70) passes through Kansas City from east to west on the south side of the Missouri River, connecting KC with Topeka and St.Roads and freeways Main routes in Kansas City Roads can also get a little busier from 4pm to 7pm. Morning rush hour in Kansas City is usually between 7am to 9am. Hy-Vee Arena has convenient parking for nearly 1,000 vehicles in Lot B, as does the nearby West Bottoms Garage (64102).This includes eight municipal parking garages, two surface lots and on-street parking (check the meters for charges and time limits).
There are around 40,000 public parking spaces in Downtown.
The Auditorium Plaza Garage (64105) at Barney Allis Plaza is similarly spacious, while 1100 Oak Street (64106) has room for almost 1,400 vehicles next to Kansas City Hall.
Town Pavilion Garage (64106) has 1,000 spaces and is conveniently positioned down the street from the Sprint Center.
